\nLooking forward to reading about your experiences. I bought a Boox Nova 2 last summer for the same reasons, to better read and write. While I am very pleased with the e-ink device and enjoy the reading (including magazines) and writing I do on it, I haven’t had much benefit from it yet in terms of a significantly higher volume / deeper form of reading, as my habits around it are still lacking.

As https://www.alfredapp.com/help/features/snippets/#expansion describes, if you look in Alfred preferences / Features, there’s a section called ‘Snippets’. There you can define your snippets and keywords, and activate the auto-expansion tickbox (it’s off by default).

Looks similar indeed. The whole install through terminal/clone from github is a bit off-putting for users like me though. Obsidian isn’t open source, true, but as it’s a viewer on my data, for now I don’t mind much. Maybe if Foam gets better, it will become the next viewer I use for my data. It’s all md text files afer all.
